When will iPad, Android, Web be available?

Transfer licence & Files to Another Device?

To transfer your licence and all saved files from one computer to another, please follow these instructions:

Back-up your work from old computer
De-activate your product key from old computer (this will reveal your product key)
Install Tactics Manager on new computer and activate it using the product key
Transfer your backed-up files onto your new computer

Detailed steps given below

1. Copy/back-up DRILL and SESSION files and folders:

Go to your computer Documents folder
Go to Tactics Manager folder
Copy the Drills and Sessions folders to a storage device or online cloud service like dropbox, iCloud or email them to yourself

2. De-activate Tactics Manager licence (product key):

Open Tactics Manager from your desktop
Press the Settings icon
Press the de-activate button
Press the button to confirm de-activation

3. Install Tactics Manager on your new Windows PC / Apple Mac:

If you haven’t already, Install Tactics Manager from here: https://www.soccertutor.com/tacticsmanager
Enter your activation product key:

4. Replace your Tactics Manager files on your new computer:

Go to your computer Documents folder
Go to Tactics Manager folder
Replace the Drills and Sessions folders with the ones backed up from your old computer

When will Cloud Saving be Available?

Cloud Saving will be available around Feb/March 2022 along with the PC and Mac versions followed by iPad, Android and Web versions 4-6 weeks later.

All your saved practice and session files will be saved in the cloud allowing you to open then from any device that you're using Tactics Manager on

How to Resolve Mac Catalina, Big Sur, Monterey - Adobe AIR issue

We are still working on the new version 4.0 for Windows and Mac, to be released Feb/Mar 2022, we then aim to release the iPad and Android Tablet and Web versions of Tactics Manager few of weeks afterwards at no cost to existing 25,000+ Tactics Manager users which will be available on all the App Stores.

Until Tactics Manager 4.0 is available on the App stores,
Please follow the resolution below to install Tactics Manager 3.0 on your Mac running Catalina / Big Sur M1 Processor:

If you haven’t already, Install Adobe AIR from here: press AIR for Mac
Open terminal. Below is how to do this

1) Open Finder
2) Click Go > Utilities from the menu bar.
3) In the Utilities folder that opens, double-click Terminal.

Copy and paste the following 1st command:

cd /Library/Frameworks
sudo xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine ./Adobe\ AIR.framework

Press ENTER on your keyboard
Type in your Mac login password and press ENTER
NOTE: When entering the password for your account you won't see any characters in the terminal, so just type it in and hit enter

Copy and paste the following 2nd command:

ls [email protected] ./Adobe\ AIR.framework/

Press ENTER on your keyboard

Type in your Mac login password and press ENTER

If nothing happens, don’t worry, move on to the final step 9 to install Tactics Manager

The above procedure will definitely work if followed correctly, however if you still cannot install Tactics Manager, please email us and describe what happens, together with a screenshot?

"No Licences are available, or you have already updated your software copy"

Tactics Manager comes with 1 licence, meaning you can activate it on 1 computer at a time.

There are 2 options for your consideration:

If you want to use Tactics Manager on more than 1 computer then you can purchase additional licences at a discount
as long as it’s for you and/or your coaching colleagues that are part of the same organisation, I,e, Club / Aacademy

You can de-activate your licence from your current computer and then activate on your other computer, here’s how:

Open Tactics Manager
Press the Settings icon
Press the de-activate button (this will reveal your Product Key, please make a note of it)
Press the button to confirm de-activation
Repeat the process…

Option 1 is more convenient.

"I’ve just tried to open up Tactics Manager and it’s asked me to re-input my Product Key"

There will be 1 of the 5 reasons for asking for product key again:

hard drive failure
operating system failure
upgrade your operating system (without option to back-up your files)
re-installation of operating system (without option to back-up your files)
Signed into your computer using a different user profile

Try using your product key to activate Tactics Manager. It it fails, please email us with the error message.

"All my files have disappeared"

Because Tactics Manager is an app you install on your computer and a one-time only cost that you keep for life, the files are saved locally on the computer.
In the Drills and Sessions folders, located in: Documents/Tactics Manager/Drills and Documents/Tactics Manager/Sessions

Tactics Manager files are like any other files saved to your computer.
They will not disappear on the same computer unless of 1 of the 4 reasons:

hard drive failure
operating system failure
upgrade your operating system (without option to back-up your files)
reinstallation of operating system (without option to back-up your files)

If one of the above happened, then it’s likely all your files are lost including Tactics Manager files unless you have a back-up?

Do you have a manual or cloud back-up of your Documents folder then your files can be transferred back into the Drills and Sessions folders on your computer.
